Persistence of Vision


Persistence of vision is a commonly-accepted although somewhat controversial theory which states that the human eye always retains images for a fraction of a second This means that everything we see is a slight blend of what is happening now and what happened a fraction of a second ago.

  1. Good work Praz you are currently working at a Merit level on this learning outcome. Please expand on some of your answers and also give some understanding of which animation came first. Also more critical evaluation of one animation technique against another. Good start.
